Dacian Gold Ltd. said Aug. 8 that diamond drilling at the Cameron Well deposit of the Mount Morgans gold project in Western Australia returned what it called a "spectacular" grade of 2.3 meters grading 311.3 g/t of gold from 140 meters.
The company said there was visible gold mineralization in two of the first six holes of drilling. It aims to test a 1.5-kilometer-long mineralized structure.
Meanwhile, Dacian commenced an 18-hole reverse circulation infill drilling to further test the potential of the structure. Additional diamond drilling will also be conducted to test the continuity of the mineralization around the bonanza intersection.
