said May 10that it has started the initial drill program at its graphite project inWestern Australia after receiving the program's approvals in March.
The initialprogram will be a combination of diamond and reverse circulation drilling atthe project's Walcott prospect, which has never been drilled for graphite, andwill include two diamond holes planned for about 280 meters and 24 reversecirculation holes for about 1,900 meters.
Through thedrilling campaign, Anson seeks to confirm a definitive resource target area, the grade, width and strike extent of the main anomaly, and the large graphiteflake size distributions, which have previously been obtained from other areasof the project.
The companyearlier said it identified four prospective targets at the Walcott prospect byreprocessing the project's historic geophysics.
Recently,Anson also signed a nonbinding memorandum of understanding with Shanxi JianbangGroup Co. Ltd. to study the use of the company's graphite and graphene inthe latter's steel products.
