Envictus International Holdings Ltd. said its normalized net income for the fiscal second quarter ended March 31 was 1 Malaysian sen per share, compared with a loss of 5 sen per share in the year-earlier period.
Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was 1.8 million ringgits, compared with a loss of 6.1 million ringgits in the year-earlier period.
The normalized profit margin increased to 2.1% from negative 8.1% in the year-earlier period.
Total revenue rose 10.0% year over year to 82.0 million ringgits from 74.6 million ringgits, and total operating expenses climbed on an annual basis to 83.9 million ringgits from 82.6 million ringgits.
Reported net income totaled 6.7 million ringgits, or 5 sen per share, compared to a loss of 10.0 million ringgits, or a loss of 8 sen per share, in the year-earlier period.
