Haitong Securities Co. Ltd. appointed Lam Lee G. as an independent nonexecutive director on its board.

Lam currently serves as an independent or nonexecutive director at several listed companies and investment funds in Asia-Pacific, according to a Sept. 7 release. He will replace Li Guangrong, who resigned from the board.

The appointment is subject to shareholder and regulatory approvals.
