WindRose Health Investors recapitalizes Kolmac

Healthcare-focused private equity firm WindRose Health Investors LLC recapitalized outpatient addiction-treatment provider Kolmac Clinic LLC.

Kolmac intends to use WindRose's investment to open offices in new U.S. markets, expand its services and increase market share in its core markets in Maryland, Northern Virginia and Washington, D.C.

Financial terms were not disclosed. Kolmac's executives also participated in the recapitalization.

Founder and Chief Clinical Officer George Kolodner will continue to lead the company.

Coker Capital served as Kolmac's financial adviser, and Cadence Bank served as the lead arranger for a senior secured credit facility. McDermott Will & Emery LLP served as WindRose's legal adviser, and Gordon Feinblatt LLC served as Kolmac's legal adviser.
