Acorn Growth Cos. LC appointed Gregory Bloom as its COO and partner, according to a May 21 release.

In his new role, Bloom is responsible for the profitable growth of Acorn's operating companies.

Bloom previously served as the president of Seal Science Inc., an aerospace and defense contractor.

Acorn Growth invests exclusively in the aerospace, defense and intelligence markets.
