Iran Siqueira Lima, the president of Itaú Unibanco Holding SA's fiscal council since 2003, diedApril 29.

Lima had just been re-elected to the position at the bank's annualgeneral meeting on April 27, Itaú said in a May 3 press release.

José Caruso Cruz Henriques, who was elected as an alternate memberof the fiscal council at the same meeting, will now assume a full-time positionuntil the bank's 2017 annual general meeting. Henriques' alternate member positionwill remain vacant until the next meeting.
