CAF names new CEO

Luis Carranza Ugarte will take over as the new CEO of Banco De Desarrollo De América Latina, or CAF, for a five-year term.

Carranza will take office April 1, 2017, replacing Enrique García Rodríguez.

A Peruvian economist, Carranza was a two-term minister of economy and finance in Peru and also worked at the International Monetary Fund.
