Pfizer Inc.'s board approved a quarterly dividend of 38 cents per common share for the first quarter of 2020.

The New York-based pharmaceutical company said the dividend represents an increase of about 6% from the prior dividend of 36 cents per share and is payable March 6, 2020, to shareholders of record as of Jan. 31, 2020.
