Honeywell International Inc. said on Nov. 30 that it has acquired Italian fire safety specialist SCAME Sistemi.

Founded in 1979 in Milan, SCAME develops all-in-one systems that deliver management of fire and gas detection, and fire extinguishing systems, from a single interface and supervisory software platform. Honeywell said that it will integrate SCAME into its fire and gas product portfolio within Home and Building Technologies.
