acquired Cargigi Inc.,a provider of online advertising and marketing services for the auto industry,for an undisclosed sum.

The online auctioneersaid March 29 that it will use Cargigi's technology to help onboard autodealers' inventory onto eBay.com. Cargigi will replace eBay's auto-focusedDealer Center, and allow eBay to build out its structured data capabilities forthe vehicles industry.

Cargigifounder Tony Hoang and his team of over 30 employees will join the eBay Motorsunit.
