An updated mineral resource statement for 's gold depositin Northern Ireland reflects a 109% increase in measured and indicated goldounces, the company said in a May 5 statement.
The new estimate increased the indicated and inferredresources to 5.6 million tonnes grading 11.61 g/t of gold containing about 2.1million ounces of gold, at a cutoff grade of 5.0 g/t gold. The mineral resourcein the inferred category is now estimated at 7.13 million tonnes grading 10.0g/t of gold containing 2.3 million ounces of gold, using a cutoff grade of 5.0g/t gold.
The results came from 175 holes representing 51,215 metersof infill drilling, as well as underground samples from new and existing driftsalong the T17, Sheep Dip, 106-16, V-75, Slap Shot and No. 1 vein zones.
The company expects to conclude the ongoing feasibilitystudy on the project by the second half.
