Jadar Lithium Ltd. said Dec. 6 that it has changed its name to Jadar Resources Ltd., effective the same day, following shareholder approval from the annual meeting held Nov. 25.

The company's ASX code remains unchanged as JDR.

In September, the company agreed to acquire the Yanamina gold project in Peru by acquiring project holder Minera Wealth Peru SAC from Wealth Minerals Ltd.
