Standard Life Aberdeen loses another exec

The head of corporate governance in Standard Life Aberdeen PLC's funds arm is to become the latest executive to leave the company following the £11 billion merger of Standard Life and Aberdeen Asset Management, the Telegraph reported May 19.

Paul Lee will step down in June, according to the report. A source said he is not leaving for a particular new role and that his departure is related to the merger.

Lee had been in the role since 2015 and was responsible for the company's stewardship activities, including engaging with the boards of investee companies. His duties as head of corporate governance will be shared among the company's environmental, social and governance team.
