The FBI arrested Emil Rensing, former chief digital officerat EPIX (US), onwire fraud and aggravated identity theft charges.

According to an April 26 official news release, Rensing usedcompanies he owned and controlled to defraud the premium entertainment networkout of more than $8 million over a period of five years. Rensing was presentedin Manhattan federal court before Magistrate Judge Frank Maas.

According to an April 26 Reuters report, Rensing wasreleased on a $500,000 bond following the court hearing.
