Zix Corp. acquired email security company Greenview Data for approximately $6.5 million in cash.
The deal adds advanced threat protection, antivirus, antispam and archiving capabilities to Zix's email encryption services. Customers will still be able to buy Zix's email encryption as a stand-alone solution.
