Citigroup's commodities leader to oversee Asia markets team

Citigroup Inc. is shifting the leader of its global commodities team, Stuart Staley, to head up the markets and securities services team in Asia, according to a Bloomberg News report.

Staley, who will start in March, oversaw major growth in Citigroup's commodities trading department during his eight years as its leader, Bloomberg reported. The news outlet obtained a company memo detailing the move. Staley is taking over for Patrick Dewilde, who is leaving Citigroup, the report added.
