Helsinki-based healthcare services company Terveystalo Oyj completed its acquisition of Sweden-based Attendo AB's Finnish healthcare operations.
Terveystalo previously agreed to acquire the operations for a consideration of €233 million.
Attendo's Finnish healthcare operations include primary care, specialist care, staffing and dental clinics, generating €235 million in 2017 revenue. The deal makes the company one of the largest providers of dental services in Finland and a major player in public private partnerships, Terveystalo CEO Yrjö Närhinen said in a news release.
Combined operations of Terveystalo and Attendo's Finnish health services, which had a combined revenue of €924.4 million, will start Jan. 2, 2019.
The Finnish Competition and Consumer Authority approved the acquisition Dec. 14.
