Urban office real estate investment trust Alexandria Real Estate Equities Inc. appointed Dean Shigenaga and Thomas Andrews as co-presidents, effective April 23.

Shigenaga will continue as CFO of the company, while Andrews will stay on as regional market director for greater Boston.

In their new roles, Shigenaga and Andrews will oversee the life science and technology office campus-focused REIT's strategic operations.
