Emera Inc.announced leadership changes at its subsidiary Nova Scotia Power Inc.
Starting Aug. 1, Nova Scotia Power President and CEO Bob Hanfwill move to Emera as its executive vice president of stakeholder relations andregulatory affairs. Hanf will be replaced by Karen Hutt at Nova Scotia Power.
Hutt is currently Emera's vice president for mergers and acquisitions,according to a July 19 news release.
"Over a period of five years, Emera expects to make morethan $8 billion in investments in the markets where its companies operate. Theseleadership appointments will help facilitate the right approach and focus, whileensuring Emera's growth helps create lasting benefits for both customers and shareholders,"the company said.
