Sopat H1 loss widens 23.9% YOY

Sopat SA said its first-half normalized net income came to 1.1 million dinars, compared with a loss of 907,890 dinars in the year-earlier period.

Normalized net income excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis.

Total revenue declined year over year to 32.8 million dinars from 33.5 million dinars, and total operating expenses fell on an annual basis to 33.6 million dinars from 34.1 million dinars.

Reported net income came to a loss of 1.7 million dinars, compared with a loss of 1.3 million dinars in the prior-year period.

As of Nov. 11, US$1 was equivalent to 2.27 Tunisian dinars.
