Cathay United Bank sells US$67.5M of performing loans

Taiwan's Cathay United Bank Co. Ltd. sold US$67.5 million of performing lending assets to four banks.

The bank said May 25 that it sold the loans to Tokyo Star Bank Ltd. ING Bank NV's Singapore branch, KGI Bank Co. Ltd. and Bank SinoPac Co. Ltd.

Cathay United Bank is a unit of Cathay Financial Holding Co. Ltd.
