Chinese search engine files for US IPO Inc.-owned online search and search-related services provider Sogou Inc. filed a registration statement with the SEC for a planned initial public offering of American depositary shares, representing Sogou's class A ordinary shares.

Sogou, which intends to list on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbol SOGO, has not yet specified the number of ADS or price range for the proposed offering.

J.P. Morgan, Credit Suisse, Goldman Sachs and CICC are acting as joint book-running managers and representatives of the underwriters for the proposed IPO, with China Renaissance serving as a co-manager.
