Facebook Inc.'s new London headquarters has landed a builder that will construct the technology company's 415,000-square-foot homebase in the British capital's King's Cross development, Construction Enquirer reported.
Netherlands-based Koninklijke BAM Groep nv's BAM Construction Ltd. unit will develop the buildings on plots T2 and T3 at the northern part of the site. The contract is believed to be worth north of £200 million and would mark BAM Construction's largest project, the Dec. 16 report added.
The company is targeting to finish the development in early 2021, and the buildings will be called 11-21 Canal Reach when they are completed.
