GoldBridges GlobalResources Plc has appointed Eric Aripzhanov as new COO to take controlof developing its Sekisovskoyeunderground mine in Kazakhstan, the company said July 14.

Aripzhanov joins from NordGold SE, where he led a technical team at the Suzdal sulfide gold mine in East Kazakhstan. CEOAidar Assaubayev flagged that Aripzhanov's experience gained in this role will be"instrumental" in delivering the company's underground development programto produce 100,000 ounces of gold.

GoldBridges also said that Bill Trew will step down as a nonexecutivedirector of the company with immediate effect.
