Urstadt Biddle Properties Inc. named Noble Carpenter to its board as a class III director.

Carpenter fills the vacancy resulting from Robert Douglass' recent death. He was also named to the board's compensation committee and nominating and corporate governance committee, and his term will expire at the 2018 annual shareholder meeting.

Carpenter is president of Cushman & Wakefield's investor services and capital markets for the Americas and a member of that company's Americas executive committee and global capital markets steering committee.
