HOCHDORF Holding AG said its second-half normalized net income amounted to CHF5.80 per share, a gain of 48.0% from CHF3.92 per share in the prior-year period.
Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was CHF6.8 million, a gain of 24.6% from CHF5.5 million in the prior-year period.
Total revenue increased 30.4% on an annual basis to CHF262.9 million from CHF201.6 million, and total operating expenses rose 32.2% from the prior-year period to CHF253.4 million from CHF191.7 million.
Reported net income declined 14.4% year over year to CHF9.5 million, or CHF8.03 per share, from CHF11.1 million, or CHF7.90 per share.
For the year, the company's normalized net income totaled CHF8.68 per share, compared with the S&P Capital IQ consensus normalized EPS estimate of CHF7.27.
EPS was CHF8.60 in the prior year.
Normalized net income was CHF10.0 million, a decrease of 9.8% from CHF11.1 million in the prior year.
Full-year total revenue increased 29.4% year over year to CHF544.2 million from CHF420.6 million, and total operating expenses increased 30.8% on an annual basis to CHF524.1 million from CHF400.6 million.
The company said reported net income declined 22.1% on an annual basis to CHF13.5 million, or CHF11.73 per share, in the full year, from CHF17.3 million, or CHF13.46 per share.
