Canadian Western Bank names 3 to executive team

Edmonton, Canada-basedCanadian Western Banknamed Stephen Murphy, Darrell Jones and Glen Eastwood to its executive team.

Murphy is thecompany's executive vice president for banking, and joined the company in March,according to a July 7 news release. He previously held several leadership rolesduring his 20-year tenure at a large Canadian bank.

Jones' and Eastwood'spositions were restructured, effective July 1. Jones was previously senior vicepresident and chief information officer and is now executive vice president andchief information officer, while Eastwood, who was formerly senior vice presidentand regional general manager, was made executive vice president for business transformation.

The appointmentsfollow the planned retirements of Randy Garvey, executive vice president for corporateservices, and Greg Sprung, executive director for business development. The twowill support the transition until Aug. 31.
