Time Inc. names new revenue chief

Mark Ford will step down as executive vice president and chief revenue officer of Time Inc., effective Jan. 9, 2017.

The company said Dec. 13 that Ford will now serve the company as executive vice president and senior strategic sales adviser. Ford will be succeeded by Brad Elders, currently the company's president of digital sales.

Also, Mark Ellis, president and COO of sales and marketing, will leave the company, effective March 1, 2017.

In his new position, Elders will manage Time Inc.'s North American sales organization that includes the category, brand and digital sales teams. Elders will also oversee INVNT, a global brand communications and live media agency, and Media Networks Inc., a developer of new techniques in targeted media, native advertising and branded content.

Elders will also serve on the board of Time Inc.'s people-based data targeting company Viant.
