Société d'Exploration Minière Vior Inc. said March 14 that recent drilling at its early stage Mosseau gold project in Quebec intersected a new gold zone.
The discovery indicates a prospective area with a minimum strike length of 900 meters that remains largely unexplored, the company said.
Drillhole MO-17-10 intersected the new zone, returning 1.13 g/t of gold over 14.5 meters, including 2.93 g/t of gold over 4.53 meters.
Earlier in March, Vior agreed to acquire the early stage Tonya gold project in Nevada from Gold Range Co. LLC.
