Russia's Sberbank closes securitization deal with DOM.RF

PAO Sberbank of Russia completed a 46 billion Russian ruble securitization deal with property developer JSC Bank DOM.RF.

The single-tranche securitization deal is secured by Sberbank's mortgage loans and DOM.RF's guarantee, in line with a 300 billion ruble securitization memorandum signed between the two companies.

Sberbank Executive Chairman Alexander Morozov said securitization will help to lower risk-weighted assets, optimize capital management and increase liquidity.

As of Dec. 21, US$1 was equivalent to 68.72 Russian rubles.
