Rockcliff Copper Corp. said Oct. 5 that it secured an option over a 100% interest in the Berry Creek gold property in Manitoba.
The company can acquire the property by paying C$140,000 in cash over three years and spending C$500,000 on it over five years.
The owner will retain a 2% net smelter royalty on the property, half of which can be purchased at any time for C$1 million.
The owner's remaining royalty will be subject to a right of first refusal in favor of Rockcliff, according to an Oct. 5 release.
The company plans to advance the gold property through geophysics, geology and drilling in 2018.
