I Squared Capital's ISQ Global Infrastructure Fund II LP has acquired Twenty First Century Utilities LLC's pipeline of investment opportunities as part of their new exclusive, strategic partnership.
Washington, D.C.-headquartered Twenty First Century Utilities, or TFC, is a privately held development and asset operations firm active in the North American power and utilities sectors. TFC is one of the many potential suitors interested in buying Santee Cooper, which is legally known as the South Carolina Public Service Authority.
The current managing partners of TFC, Larry Kellerman and Peter Corsell, will join I Squared Capital as managing directors. TFC will continue as a standalone company.
White & Case LLP and Gibson Dunn & Crutcher LLP advised I Squared Capital, while Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP advised TFC on the transaction.
