Former Twentieth Century Fox Film Corp. Chief Communications Officer Chris Petrikin on June 5 joined Viacom Inc.'s Paramount Pictures as the studio's new executive vice president of global communications and corporate branding, Variety reported.

Petrikin will report to Jim Gianopulos, chairman and CEO of Paramount Pictures. Petrikin and Gianopulos previously worked together at Fox Filmed Entertainment. Petrikin left Fox late last year.

Twentieth Century Fox Film is owned by 21st Century Fox Inc.
