Automotive Holdings Group profit misses consensus by 15.9% in fiscal H1

Automotive Holdings Group Ltd said its normalized net income for the fiscal first half ended Dec. 31, 2014, was 13 Australian cents per share, compared with the S&P Capital IQ consensus estimate of 15 cents per share.

EPS fell 5.9% year over year from 13 cents.

Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was A$38.7 million, a gain of 10.5% from A$35.0 million in the year-earlier period.

Total revenue climbed 10.6% year over year to A$2.57 billion from A$2.32 billion, and total operating expenses increased 10.6% year over year to A$2.48 billion from A$2.24 billion.

Reported net income rose 17.4% year over year to A$45.0 million, or 15 cents per share, from A$38.4 million, or 15 cents per share.
