Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corp. plans to issue ¥63.7 billion of residential mortgage-backed securities, Moody's SF Japan K.K. said May 30.
The bank will issue the securities in five tranches.
The offering is made up of ¥23.5 billion of Class A1 senior trust certificates and Class Tokkin ABL, ¥17.2 billion of Class A2 senior trust certificates, as well as ¥23.0 billion of Class Alpha senior trust certificates and Class Alpha Tokkin ABL.
The residential mortgage-backed securities will mature February 2056. The closing date of the issuance is June 25.
SMBC Nikko Securities is the underwriter for the issuance.
