Sparkasse Bochum on Dec. 21 announced the retirement of its long-term CEO, Volker Goldmann, who will leave at year-end.

Goldmann has been with the Bochum-based savings bank for 40 years, 16 of which were as CEO. He will be succeeded by Jürgen Hohmann, a member of Sparkasse Bochum's executive board since 2001.
