Hakers Enterprise Q1 profit falls YOY

Hakers Enterprise Co. Ltd. said its normalized net income for the first quarter was NT$1.06 per share, a decline of 25.4% from NT$1.43 per share in the prior-year period.

Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was NT$53.8 million, a decline of 25.4% from NT$72.2 million in the year-earlier period.

The normalized profit margin declined to 9.1% from 9.5% in the year-earlier period.

Total revenue decreased 22.0% on an annual basis to NT$592.1 million from NT$759.2 million, and total operating expenses fell 23.7% on an annual basis to NT$504.1 million from NT$660.3 million.

Reported net income declined 22.0% on an annual basis to NT$71.8 million, or NT$1.42 per share, from NT$92.1 million, or NT$1.82 per share.
