Klondex Mines Ltd.said July 12 that it has achieved record quarterly production of 41,436 gold equivalentounces from its Nevada based FireCreek and Midasmines in the second quarter.
In the three months ended June 30., the Fire Creek project produced29,067 gold equivalent ounces while the Midas mine and mill produced 12,320 goldequivalent ounces.
The increase in production during the second quarter was primarilydue to an increase in tonnes mined and milled.
Average gold equivalent mill head grades at Fire Creek improvedfrom the first quarter as the company returned to mining higher grade zones, whileaverage gold equivalent mill head grades improved slightly at Midas due to minesequencing.
The company produced 71,592 gold equivalent ounces from FireCreek and Midas in the first six months of this year.
Klondex reiteratedits full-year production guidance of 145,000 to 150,000, gold equivalent ounces,with approximately 45% to 50% of annual output expected in the first half and 50%to 55% in the second half.
