Levine Leichtman Capital Partners LLC appointed Andrew Schwartz a partner.

Schwartz was a vice president at another middle-market private equity firm, Liberty Partners, and an investment banking analyst at Jefferies.

Levine Leichtman also promoted Andrew Alexander and Weston Richter to director, Jamie Lee Principe to director and deputy chief compliance officer, and Jay Berajawala to senior associate.

The firm, which invests in franchising, professional services, education, engineered products and other sectors, also said it opened an office in Miami.
