DiamondGenerating Corp. plans to off-load its equity interests in the924-MW (summer rating) TenaskaCentral Alabama natural gas-fired power plant in Autauga County, Ala.,and is seeking FERC approval in order to do so.
The MitsubishiCorp. subsidiary holds a 0.30% general partnershipinterest and a 46.875% limited partnership interests in Tenaska Alabama II PartnersLP, which owns and operate the power plant. Tenaska Energy Inc., which already owns a stake in thefacility, plans to acquire the interest for undisclosed terms, according to theapplication filed April 27.
The facility sells its output to subsidiaryShell Energy North America (US)LP under a 20-year contract expiring May 2023, according to SNLEnergy data.
Parties involved are seeking FERC approval by June 13.(EC16-108)
