AlphabetInc.'s GoogleCapital co-led a funding round for Airbnb Inc. that valued theweb-based rental company at $30 billion, or $105 per share, The Wall Street Journal reported Sept.22, citing people close to the matter.

The company is raising private investment funds while itdelays pursuing an IPO until after next year as the company tackles a range ofregulatory and legal challenges in various markets, according to the report.
