Calidus Resources Ltd.'s total indicated and inferred resource at its Warrawoona gold project in Western Australia increased 74% to 10.5 million tonnes at 2.11 g/t of gold for 712,000 ounces.
At a 0.5 g/t of gold cut-off, the updated estimate included a maiden indicated mineral resource of 8.4 million tonnes at 2.01 g/t of gold for 541,000 ounces.
The mineral resource for the Klondyke deposit increased to 654,000 ounces at 2.06 g/t of gold, from 374,000 ounces at a grade of 2.08 g/t of gold, while a maiden mineral resource was estimated at the Fieldings Gully deposit of 22,000 ounces at 1.65 g/t of gold in the indicated and inferred categories.
The mineral resource for the Copenhagen deposit was unchanged at 200,000 tonnes at 6.12 g/t of gold for 36,000 ounces in the inferred category.
Calidus intends to conduct deeper drilling at Klondyke in the first quarter next year, and undertake a pre-feasibility study at Warrawoona in late 2018.
