Kevin Dotts will resign as Fusion Connect Inc.'s CFO, executive vice president and principal accounting officer, effective Aug. 24, to pursue an opportunity outside the industry.

Keith Soldan, Fusion Connect's vice president of finance, has been appointed acting CFO and principal accounting officer, also effective Aug. 24.

Soldan joined Fusion Connect in May 2018 as vice president of finance through the acquisition of Birch Communications Inc., where he had served as vice president of corporate finance and accounting since March 2017.
