Finland's Aktia Bank eyes greater profits by 2022

Finland-based Aktia Pankki Oyj, or Aktia Bank Plc, aims to increase its comparable operating profit to about €80 million and comparable cost-to-income ratio to 0.61% by 2022.

Outlining its new financial and strategic objectives, the bank also said it aims to improve its return on equity to 9.7% and to increase its common equity Tier 1 capital ratio to between 1.5 percentage points and 3 percentage points above regulatory requirements.

It is targeting a dividend payout of between 60% and 80% of profit after taxes.
