Brown Brothers Harriman names Switzerland country head

New York-based Brown Brothers Harriman & Co. named Hugh Boltonmanaging director, office head for Zurich and country manager for Switzerland.

Bolton will be responsible for the company's strategicalignment with institutional and private bank clients and for Brown BrothersHarriman's European relationship management. He will report to Geoffrey Cook,who co-heads the company's business in Europe, the Middle East and Africa andis supervising partner for Zurich.

Bolton was managing director of Brown Brothers HarrimanTrustee Services (Ireland) Ltd. and head of the parent company's Dublin office.
