OCC signs off on First, A National Banking Association/Iberville Bank deal

The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency on Dec. 13 approved Hattiesburg, Miss.-based First, A National Banking Association's proposed acquisition of Plaquemine, La.-based Iberville Bank.

First, A National Banking Association is a unit of First Bancshares Inc., and Iberville Bank is a subsidiary of A. Wilbert's Sons Lumber and Shingle Co.
