Apollo Consolidated Ltd. said Oct. 15 that exploration drilling at the Lake Rebecca gold project in Western Australia has discovered the Laura Lode, a new gold surface to the north of the previously identified Jennifer Lode.
Highlights of the results from the Laura Lode include 17 meters at 2.92 g/t gold, including 1 meter at 12.40 g/t gold; 15 meters at 3.29 g/t gold, including 1 meter at 14.20 g/t gold; and 8 meters at 2.02 g/t gold.
The Laura Lode extends for more than 300 meters in a northwest orientation, and starts approximately 100 meters to the north of the Jennifer Lode. The combined strike distance of Laura and Jennifer is now more than 500 meters, while the Rebecca mineralized corridor now extends over 1.3 kilometers on strike and remains open.
Other drilling delivered further wide intercepts on the Jennifer Lode surface, more mineralization in exploration holes about 300 meters south of Jennifer and a new exploration target 100 meters to the west of the Laura Lode.
