Former BBC Worldwide Ltd. executive Riccardo Donato has joined A+E Networks U.K. as director of distribution and digital partnerships, Digital TV Europe reported Jan. 30, citing a company statement.

In this role, Donato will oversee linear and nonlinear business development across A+E U.K. operating markets. At the British Broadcasting Corp. unit, Donato served as head of video on demand for emerging markets division and a business adviser to the BBC Worldwide Labs unit.

Additionally, Youngsun Soh, executive at Twitter Inc.'s South Korean operations, joined A+E as general manager for A+E Networks South Korea.

A+E is a joint venture of Walt Disney Co.'s Disney-ABC Television Group and Hearst Corp.
