Brandywine Realty Trust named H. Richard Haverstick Jr. a trustee, effective immediately, expanding its board's size to nine trustees from eight.

Haverstick will also serve on the board's audit committee. He will serve as a trustee until the 2017 annual shareholder meeting.

Haverstick, a veteran at Ernst & Young until his retirement in June 2013, is a director of Actua Corp. and trustee of Thomas Jefferson University and Jefferson Health System.
